Yes, that was Nurik in the box at the Dubai World Cup on Saturday. Yes, the man next to him in the sunglasses was who you think it was. No, Nurik is not going to tell you what they talked about.

"We are friends. We both love horses, we both love a party. Is that a crime?" the Boss said on Monday. "He has the television, I have the Hippodrome. We talked about horses. Also football. Also some other things I can't say. Next question."

Asked whether the friendship had anything to do with Jarysh winning the Hippodrome entertainment concession the year before, Nurik laughed for a long time and then hung up.
