CONCESSION RENEWAL "A FORMALITY", SAYS BOSS

Jarysh Entertainment Group's concession to run the entertainment at league Saturdays at the Irad State Hippodrome ends with the 2026 season, and Jarysh founder Nurlan "Nurik" Baisalov says the renewal is "a formality".
Two independent deputies in the Mejlis this week asked the National Equestrian Sports Directorate to put the concession out to public tender, saying the 2018 award "was never advertised". The Directorate said it would "consider all options in line with the law" and that it valued "the partners who have brought new audiences to the sport".
"Before Jarysh, Saturday at the Hippodrome was 400 old men and a goat," Nurik told Jarysh. "Now it's 14,000 people, a beer deck, a stage and the best-looking girls in Irad. You want a tender? Fine. Who else is going to bid? The Philharmonic?"
He invited both deputies to Ulak Nights. "First drink on me. Second drink also on me. Then we talk."
